This revolutionary software also includes a pop-down menu that includes popular pre-built phrases that you can load instantly. Wordbuilder, now built into EastWest's Play software, is the word building software that enables Symphonic Choirs and Symphonic Choirs Expansion users to type in words for the Choirs to sing. This eliminates the need for artificial reverb. By selecting different mic positions, users can mix these sounds together to create any kind of natural ambience their project requires. To achieve the feel of a live concert hall performance, each instrument and section was recorded with three mic positions: close, stage (conductor‘s position) and hall. The Choirs were recorded in the same concert hall, by the same team as the EastWest/Quantum Leap Symphonic Orchestra and blend perfectly with EWQLSO. This Gold edition has one mic position and is 16-bit, and is the first 24-bit Choir virtual instrument to include three simultaneous stereo mic setups (close, stage and hall), so users can mix any combination of mic positions to control ambience. Imagine typing words into your computer and hearing a choir sing them in any key(s) you play! Well imagine no more, that's exactly what this unique product does. New version with WordBuilder inside the included PLAY software. Once your order has been placed, you will be emailed shortly after will a download key to access your software.
Please note, this product is a serial download and not a boxed version.
Wireless Music Streamers - Bluetooth / WiFi.Toontrack Expansion Packs - EZX / SDX / EBX.I had hoped the new version of Play would help, but no. This isn't new with Play 5, I saw the same behaviour with 4 so have been avoiding using Symphonic Choirs since Reaper is my preferred DAW.
System is an i5 6600K with 32GB RAM running Win10 Pro 64, Reaper 5.25/圆4, Play 5.0 64bit with Symphonic Choirs installed on SSD. Nor do I have any problems with any other plug-ins in Reaper, including Kontakt loaded with large orchestral libraries. I've tested in some other DAWs (Cubase 8.5, Studio One 3, Sonar Platimun) and none of the above problems occur.
It also doesn't happen if I remove the loaded instance of Play from the FX chain prior to quitting.Ĭhanging settings for Minimal Undo States, Buggy Plugin Compatability Mode, Disable Saving Full Plug-In State and Send All Keyboard Input To Plug-In make no difference. This doesn't happen if I simply insert Play in an FX chain and then quit Reaper, only if I load Symphonic Choirs into Play. After some time (more than 5 minutes) the task ends. Using End Task in Task Manager causes the process to stop using CPU, but fails to immediately terminate it. On exiting Reaper the application apparently closes but a Reaper process remains running, visible in Task Manager and using CPU. I don't have any other Play libraries to test. It seems to make no difference which Symphonic Orchestra preset I load.
Mouse interaction with the Play interface seems normal, as does response to MIDI input. WordBuilder response to keyboard input is intermittent - usually input is ignored, rarely it's accepted after a random time lag, once it briefly worked normally. After loading Symphonic Choirs into Play, moving the interface becomes jerky. On inserting Play into an FX chain its behaviour seems normal and I can smoothly drag the interface around the screen. It runs everything I ask it to smoothly and without problems, except for EastWest Symphonic Choirs in Play. Reaper may be the most hassle-free software I own.
